The mountain ranges of The Budawangs, including Pigeon House Mountain (719m) are situated at the south-east corner of the Morton National Park (162000ha) one of the state's largest parks. The landforms are various and so there is a diversity of flora and fauna. To the north-west of Pigeon House Mountain are the plateaux of Byangee Wall, the Castle and Granite Falls. To the east the view of the coast stretches from Point Perpendicular in the north to Mt Dromedary in the south. Some of the popular local walks include the One Track For All on Ulladulla's headland (north) a feature walk with carvings designed and constructed by the Budawang Aboriginal Landcare group. Another walk is The Coomee Nulunga Cultural Trail, created by the local Aboriginal Land Council, which commences opposite the Lighthouse Oval carpark on Deering St, with a 4-metre sculpture of Corroboree man, at the entrance to the trail. The 700m walk winds through low scrub to a viewing platform facing the beach.
