The Milton Theatre
Historic building c1927 seating 200 has great ambience and excellent accoustics. It is used for live theatre and community performances. Great venue for local and overseas artists. Heritage Town
Milton was established in the 1860s and heritage buildings include the Court House c1877, Town Hall c1871 (now library) and Post Office c1878, historical original workers' cottages built in the 1870's and the Wesleyan Stone Church c1883 in Wason Street. Milton is Heritage listed by the National Trust, along with many of its buildings and outlaying farm houses. Visit Milton Village for more information.

Markets and Fairs
Milton Village Markets: Street stalls, music, local produce and wares. Markets are held first Saturday monthly and Easter Saturday. Local markets: Mollymook beach reserve 5th Sunday and Australia Day; Ulladulla Harbour wharf markets 2nd Sunday.
Milton's 143rd Annual Agricultural Show on March 2 & 3 at the Showgrounds. Show jumping, dog trials, the grand parade, woodchop, Jack Russell racing, vintage car club displays, Milton Idol and animal nursery. The pavilion displays local produce, ceramics, cooking, embroidery, photography, artworks and more. A true country experience!
Harbourfeast Ulladulla Food and Wine Festival Civic Centre in November. Local produce, food and wines, entertainment. Ulladulla's Blessing of the Fleet is held at Easter - Ceremonies, parade, community exhibitions and fireworks. More at Ulladulla.info
Escape ARTfest is held annually in October - Enjoy a host of exhibitions and events in the area including art, music, film, fashion, sculpture, literature, photography, dance and performance. October long weekend The Milton Settlers Fair is a tribute to the district's rural heritage - markets, entertainment, history walks and rural displays.
Bushwalking on Local Trails
With sweeping coastal views to the east, the town is set on a ridge between valleys and the Great Dividing Range. The landmark Pigeon House Mountain (719m) in The Budawangs forms a spectacular backdrop to the west. The mountain ranges are situated at the south-east corner of the Morton National Park (162000ha) one of the state's largest parks. The landforms are various and so there is a diversity of flora and fauna. To the north-west of Pigeon House Mountain are the plateaux of Byangee Wall, The Castle, Mt Bushwalker and Granite Falls. To the east the views of the coast stretch from Point Perpendicular in the north to Mt Dromedary in the south.
Some of the popular local trails include the Milton rainforest walk, the One Track For All on Ulladulla's northern headland, a feature walk with carvings made by the Budawang Aboriginal Landcare group; and The Coomee Nulunga Cultural Trail, the 700m track winds through low scrub to a viewing platform facing the beach. Whale watch from various vantage points such as the Warden Head Lighthouse.
Beaches and Coastal Lakes
Milton is surrounded by the large inland lake systems of Lake Conjola, Burrill and Tabourie Lakes. Close to pristine swimming beaches (five minutes to Mollymook), sea pools and over 40kms of coastline walks, featuring wildflowers and coastal forests, from Narrawallee inlet to Merry Beach. Water activities such as kayaking, surfing, swimming and snorkelling. Canoes available for hire locally.
Short drive to Mollymook beach, golf courses, vineyards and wineries. Close to Ulladulla Harbour with the Boardwalk Café, shopping, cinema, clubs, teashop, leisure centre and bowling alley. Fishing charters and boat hire, guided Fossil Walks on the harbour rock platforms. Sea pool around from Ulladulla wharf or entry from carpark at the end of Wason Street. Milton Swimming Pool: 25metre outdoor pool with south easterly views across the countryside to the coast. Open November to March.
Dolphin and Whale Watching
Dolphins and whales can be sighted during the migration season.There are several vantage points such as the Lighthouse in Ulladulla. Golfing
Mollymook Golf Club has two courses, Beachside (4455 1911) for a leisurely game of 9-holes and one at Hilltop (4454 1912) which is championship quality.
